KineticDriftFlux

Building Tomorrow's Web Designers

We started KineticDriftFlux because we saw too many talented people struggling with outdated web design approaches. Our journey began in a small Kaohsiung studio and grew into Taiwan's most trusted responsive design education platform.

Our Growth Story

From three designers sharing workspace to Taiwan's leading responsive design education hub. Here's how we evolved alongside the web design industry.

2019

The Beginning in Kaohsiung

Three freelance designers rented space above a coffee shop on Yucheng Road. We were frustrated watching clients struggle with websites that broke on mobile devices.

Started teaching weekend workshops after clients kept asking "How do you make websites work on phones?"

Remote Learning Revolution

When everything went online, we discovered something interesting. Our hands-on approach worked even better through screen sharing and collaborative coding sessions.

Expanded from weekend workshops to structured six-month programs with real project portfolios

Industry Partnerships Grow

Local businesses started reaching out directly. They needed designers who understood mobile-first thinking and could work with real constraints — not just pretty mockups.

Teaching What Actually Works

We refined our curriculum based on what our graduates encountered in real jobs. Less theory, more solving actual problems that companies face every day.

How We Actually Teach

Our approach comes from years of watching what happens when people learn design in isolation versus learning through real project challenges.

Real Projects From Day One

No Fake Portfolio Pieces

You work on actual websites with real constraints. Budget limits, content that changes, and clients who need their sites to work perfectly on every device their customers use.

  • Client briefs based on actual Taiwan business needs
  • Practice troubleshooting mobile display issues that happen in real work
  • Learn to explain design decisions to non-technical stakeholders

Lead Responsive Design Instructor

"I came to Taiwan in 2018 and noticed how many local businesses struggled with mobile-responsive websites. Teaching others to solve these real problems has been incredibly rewarding — our graduates often send updates about projects they're working on at companies across Taiwan."
